It’s Time to Stop Believing That Music is Only for a Select Few.

Music-Making is for EVERYONE!

If you’ve ever felt like you "missed your chance" to learn an instrument, or if you're struggling to find engaging, community-minded music programs for you or your family, you belong here.

Traditional music lessons can often come with a lot of unneeded stuffiness: high pressure, strict classical expectations, and premium price tags that lock people out. We do things differently. Our mission is to ignite the joy of music-making in our whole community, offering an outside-the-box, inclusive space designed for all ages from 1 to 99+.

Why Choose an Outside-the-Box Music Studio?

Music is a powerful tool for socialization, brain development, and pure human connection. Yet, too many people face barriers to getting started. Public school instrument programs often don't begin until age 10 or 11, skipping crucial early years and leaving out many styles and instruments that students actually want to hear and play. Meanwhile, adults are frequently told they’ve "aged out" of the chance to try something new, or feel they have missed their chance, or "it's too late". From my experience as a teacher, I believe that is simply untrue! I have seen many people successfully learn an instrument, even if they didn't start until retirement!
We build programs to fill these gaps, focusing on the needs of our community and responding with new classes and offerings every session. Whether you are looking for an alternative (or extension) to public school programs, a vibrant community for a homeschool student, or just a fresh, social activity to enjoy in person with a group of friends, we design our classes to be welcoming, accessible, and social.

No matter your age or economic background, there is a place for you to create music here:
-
Group 1: Early Childhood Exploration (Ages 1–7 + Guardian)
A playful, active environment centered on early development, foundational rhythm, and vital early-childhood socialization. -
Group 2: Youth Ensemble & String Orchestra (Ages 11–18)
A dynamic team environment where young musicians learn the thrill of collaborating, listening, and performing together. -
Group 3: Youth Group Instrument Classes (Ages 8–18)
An accessible entry point for kids to learn violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, or ukulele. To keep music accessible for working families, these classes utilize a sliding-scale fee structure—as group sizes grow, weekly costs drop to as low as $15 per lesson. -
Group 4: Adult Lifelong Learners (Ages 18–99+)
It is never too late to experience the mental and emotional benefits of playing an instrument. We offer dedicated, supportive private weekly lessons ($50/week) tailored specifically for older adults. If you want to learn with a friend, partner lessons will drop that cost and each person saves $10 per lesson ($40/week per person) And if you are looking for a unique social night out, we also organize adult group classes at an affordable group rate (as low as $15 per lesson) —perfect for a group of friends wanting to pick up the ukulele together instead of the usual happy hour meetup.
